1. WORK: There is no getting around performing the work involved in any career. This is true in the world of Final Expense Insurance – or anywhere. There is no point in looking for short cuts to doing the work, because there simply aren't any! Become aware of the numbers it takes to be successful and commit to doing these week in and week out. These numbers are what level the playing field in the world of business.
2. READING – Reading is visually guided thinking. Reading is a Performance Enhancing Drug in the world of business. Only this PED is perfectly legal! Reading is like taking a "magnet drug." Reading drastically increases your communication skills. The new thoughts that you inject into your brain makes you flourish. 15 minutes a day will change your life forever! Remember too, that the person who can read but chooses not to, is no better off than the person who cannot read at all.
3. ASSOCIATION – We all become like the people we associate with. I spend the most amount of time possible around people that are Going Somewhere in Life. There is a major difference in thought process between people that are working hard in accomplishing their dreams when compared to people who have lost that dream and have "settled" in life. 5. UPLINE – Your upline has a vested interest in your success! Don't do anything for the first time WITHOUT CHECKING WITH THEM! It is amazing how many people take advice from people that have NO vested interest in their success!
6. WRITE DOWN YOUR GOALS – Successful business people know the value of this activity going all the way back to the days of the Bible! And you don’t need to be a Biblical scholar to believe this is the case. Several years ago, Harvard University conducted a study and found that only three percent of all people actually had written down their goals. The study showed that those three percent actually earned 10 TIMES MORE THAN THE OTHER 97% COMBINED! By writing your goals down, you make them more real by putting them in writing AND you make them easier to manage and keep track of. Don't be one of the 97%! Do it today!
7. SPEAK YOUR GOALS AND ACTION PLAN – How can you have GREAT expectations and SPEAK NEGATIVELY? Speaking negatively digs up the good seeds of WORK that you do! Why would anyone want to waste all the work they do with negative words? This is the epitome of "shooting yourself in the foot."
8. DRAW YOUR GROUP OUT – Learn to THINK and VISUALIZE! Drawing your group out is an important activity of a Leader. It helps you keep things in perspective and not get lost in feeling like you have too much to do. When you don't keep your group drawn out and make yourself a fresh "to do/accomplish list" this is a recipe to feel overwhelmed. Your effectiveness goes out the window when you feel like this! Keep your group drawn out and game plan with your UPLINE on the activities you feel you should do. Strive to be in agreement with your upline and watch your business GROW!
9. DECIDE TO BE AN AFFIRMER – Strive to be an affirmer instead of an evaluator. See the best in people! People are attracted to people who see the best in them! Affirmers ATTRACT, evaluators REPEL!
